Supernatural Kingdom Living
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
Jesus didn't die just to get us into the Kingdom of Heaven, He also died to get the Kingdom of Heaven into us! We were created to live supernatural lives of faith that burst with His glory and goodness.
We have all been designed with an inner spiritual fire just waiting to be ignited. The Bible tells us that our Creator has set eternity in our hearts. This means everyone has an innate longing for the more. Whether it's recognized or not, we all have a yearning to be in deep communion with our Heavenly Father and for our lives to overflow with His glory.
Sadly, Christianity has been reduced to dry, dead religion and a list of rules and rituals instead of the vibrant, supernatural, breathtaking adventure that it is. The Bible has been diminished to a history book instead of being taught as the Living Word that facilitates a relationship with the King of the universe. Many turn to New Age and witchcraft practices to validate the very real supernatural experiences they have because the Church is not providing the answers or the guidance they need to walk in their gifts. Gifts that were meant to be used for God's glory become tools for the enemy's counterfeits.
Do you read the book of Acts and get excited about the way the early church lived? Nothing has changed, friend! We are still empowered and commissioned to live the way those believers lived. Christians have the privilege of partnering with God to bring about His will, on Earth as it is in Heaven. We are His ambassadors, His sent ones.
We are endowed with the power of the Holy Spirit to lay hands on the sick and heal. We have the authority to cast out demons and trample over all of the powers of darkness. We have the ability to speak and declare God's Word and see it come to pass.
We are entrusted with the good news of the gospel - that Jesus came to set us free from our sin, reconcile us with the Father, and fill us with His Holy Spirit. We can live every day in anticipation of all of the Divine appointments the Father has orchestrated for us. We get to be catalysts for salvation, healing, and deliverance.
The Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead, lives inside of us and empowers us to bring the Kingdom of Heaven wherever we step foot. We are Kingdom warriors for Jesus, carriers of His Presence. We hold the keys to life. We are conduits of His glory; releasers of hope, truth, peace, joy, and love.
I've seen so many miracles since yielding to the Holy Spirit, determining to believe all of Scripture, and then actually stepping out in faith. I've seen people healed of all sorts of things. I've watched as demons have been visibly cast out of people. I've prayed for those with spirits of infirmity who have physically felt the evil spirit leaving their bodies as I prayed. I've seen the power of the Holy Spirit filling people in a tangible way. I've felt His power flow through me as I've prayed.
